If I had to pick one word to describe myself I would say that word is independent. That and curious. Perhaps that is why I have worked and lived in many places around the world.

I am currently a graduate student studying the history of science and the intersection of science and religion in society.

I am also an atheist and a religious skeptic. I do not believe in any god or gods, and I am highly skeptical of religious people who purport to know what they cannot possibly know. Faith is not a virtue but a failure in applying critical thinking.

I firmly believe that science can answer any and all questions claimed as exclusive territory by religion. I believe we can be happy and live meaningful rich lives without any appeals to God or anything else “higher” than us. Science is harder than religion, though. Evolution takes time to understand, and if we’re going to really understand what it is to be human, we need to know some science. I’m here to help you find some of the hard but ultimately more satisfying answers, and to help you free your own mind from any of the crutches of theism.
